If You Become Our Client
Initial Consultation
We will conduct an in-depth consultation to enable us to analyse your situation and determine what we are able to do for you.
This initial consultation is free of charge.
Power of Attorney – Contract
We request that you issue us with the standard power of attorney that is recommended by the Austrian Chamber of Chartered Public Accountants and Tax Consultants.
This power of attorney authorises us to act on your behalf before the tax authorities. For the basic award of contract, we also apply the standard of the Austrian Chamber of Chartered Public Accountants and Tax Consultants.
Familiarisation with the Specific Characteristics of your Company – Comprehensive Business Analysis
At this stage, we introduce you to the members of staff who will work with you in your company’s individual specialised areas. General taxation questions are dealt with by our advisors. Questions on employment and social law will be answered by our ladies in Payroll Accounting. Special fiscal and business advice, as well as the review of your company’s annual financial statements, is Mr. Lampert’s responsibility.
Once power of attorney has been awarded, you do not need to worry about any deadlines. The time limit for submitting your tax return is automatically deemed to be extended, and tax assessments are thoroughly examined and dealt with accordingly within the time allowed for appeal. Your only responsibility is to pay your taxes on time. On request, we can also support you in this respect and make your remittances on schedule. To do this, we require a bank mandate.
To quickly familiarise ourselves with your fiscal situation, we need to see any ongoing correspondence with the tax authorities plus any contracts relating to your business, as well as those connected to inheritance or endowment proceedings. These include:
To take over the bookkeeping and payroll accounting, we need lists of account balances, account statements, the register of assets as well as payroll accounts and employment contracts for the most recent period.
Please also let us know to which address we should direct business correspondence. In addition, please tell us who we should contact in the bookkeeping department and which of your employees is authorised to order changes in personnel accounting or if you will retain this authority for yourself.
We recommend that you commission a thorough business analysis from us at the outset of our collaboration so that we can also offer you business management support right from the very start.
Fees
There are two options with regard to our fees: either we calculate the amount of time spent at the usual hourly rates or we agree a lump sum figure payable in equal monthly instalments which will cover all work for the year. Of course, it is only possible to agree a lump sum fee if the amount of work required can be clearly determined.
Ongoing Support
We will, of course, keep you informed of any changes to taxation law via our newsletter and through the “News” page on our website, which is updated at regular intervals.
